Online Casino Software Development

Develop casino platform components for game providers, sessions, wallet transactions and operator reconciliation.

For casino operators and platform vendors
  • Operator product team: replace a player or back-office workflow, connect approved game content or modernize a defined part of an existing platform.
  • Platform vendor or aggregator: implement shared provider adapters and transaction interfaces with a consistent view across the games you are entitled to offer.

Casino platform delivery with an explicit round and wallet boundary

Online casino software development connects the player experience to game providers, account state and wallet transactions. Pharos develops a defined platform or module scope: game discovery, sessions, provider adapters and the back-office tools that explain a round and its financial effects.

The Gambit Stream Casino case describes a multi-game platform with wallet, loyalty and operator tools. Lucky Bets shows game aggregation, provider integration and a unified wallet/back-office approach. These are platform-delivery examples, not offers to supply licensed game content or an operating business.

What we do not do
  • Operator permissions, game-provider agreements and content rights remain client responsibilities.
  • Original game mathematics, RNG certification and regulatory approval are separate scopes and dependencies.
  • Payment services, custody arrangements and bonus policy are agreed explicitly rather than included by implication.

Casino delivery scope starts with these contracts

  • Provider surface: Game APIs, catalog data, session launch and debit/credit callback behavior.
  • Wallet ownership: The ledger of record, allowed adjustments and the interface that confirms a financial operation.
  • Operator workflow: Permissions for game availability, player management, bonuses and transaction investigation.
  • Estimate drivers: Provider count and differences, game/round models, existing platform state and reconciliation requirements.

Connect providers or develop a broader casino platform?

Provider integration can be bounded when the account and wallet contracts are established. Platform development also needs decisions about the player journey and operator ownership.

Factor Provider integration module Custom platform or rebuild
Delivery focus Catalog, launch and callback behavior for approved providers. Player workflows, provider integration and operator tools together.
Financial boundary Use the existing wallet interface and reconciliation owner. Define ledger ownership and adjustment rules across the platform.
Existing history Retain round and transaction ownership in the current system. Plan transfer or continued access to historical and unfinished rounds.
Acceptance Validate provider requests and wallet effects. Also verify player states, operational permissions and rollout recovery.

A sample round-to-wallet reconciliation report

Illustrative acceptance format, not a client report: provider round identifier, wallet entry, payout or refund, mismatch and exception owner. Each row must explain the agreed financial effect.

  1. A callback is delivered twice

Repeat an accepted debit or credit request using the provider reference. Confirm the wallet has one intended effect and the response matches the agreed retry semantics. A successful callback response alone is insufficient evidence.

  2. A round closes after a disconnect

Interrupt the player session while the provider continues the round. Retrieve the result through the agreed recovery path and compare it with the recorded wallet state. Preserve a way to investigate unresolved rounds.

  3. A refund or rollback arrives

Apply a provider-supported reversal scenario. Link the compensating entry to the original operation and verify the permitted adjustment. An unsupported rollback must follow the agreed exception path instead of creating an unexplained balance change.

  4. Provider and platform records differ

Compare round outcomes with the wallet and operator view. Record the mismatch, assign its owner and retain the evidence needed for resolution. Test both reconciliation after recovery and routine operational review.

Casino platform modules and responsibilities

  • Lobby, catalog and game sessions
Present approved game content with the availability and launch states supplied by the provider. Define how the application behaves when a session cannot start or a game becomes unavailable. The operator controls catalog policy; engineering connects it to the player experience.
  • Provider adapters and callback recovery
Map provider-specific requests into the platform contract without losing transaction references. Document request authentication and retry behavior. The adapter must distinguish a repeated delivery from a new operation using the semantics the provider actually supports.
  • Wallet effects and exception records
Connect round operations to the agreed wallet source of truth. Keep balance changes traceable to their originating request and any later adjustment. Reconciliation identifies unresolved records so staff can investigate a provider/platform mismatch rather than infer it from a player complaint.
  • Operator controls and release planning
Scope the permissions for content, players and transaction investigation. Plan a rebuild around existing sessions and records rather than assuming a fresh empty platform. A sportsbook needs a different acceptance model; see sportsbook software development for the bet and settlement lifecycle.

Questions about casino platform implementation

Last updated:

  • Do you supply casino games or a gaming license?

This service is engineering for the platform and its integrations. The operator provides game-provider agreements and the permissions required for its business.

Content procurement, licensing and any certification process need separate owners.

  • Can you integrate an existing aggregator?

We review its launch and transaction APIs, reporting access and permitted usage. An aggregator can simplify the provider surface, but the platform still needs clear round identifiers and wallet behavior.

Include its documentation and sandbox access in discovery.

  • Are bonuses included in the platform scope?

They can be included when the operator supplies rules for eligibility, wagering conditions and reversals. Agree the connection to wallet transactions and provider outcomes before implementation.

A catalog integration does not automatically include a bonus engine.

  • What if we only need back-office improvements?

A focused engagement can address transaction investigation, permissions or reconciliation while retaining the player frontend. Define the existing source of truth and the operational question staff need to answer.

That keeps the change bounded to the relevant records and workflow.
