Pharos Production publishes this list. We are a custom software development and AI engineering company, and we compete for the same blockchain development work as most of the ten vendors named below. That is stated here plainly, not hidden in a footer, because a reader deciding whether to trust a ranked list deserves to know who wrote it before reading a single row.

This is not a scored evaluation of ten vendors against a shared rubric. We did not run every company below through the six criteria this page has long used to evaluate blockchain development partners and publish the resulting scores. What follows instead is a list of ten companies that a reader researching blockchain development vendors is likely to encounter, each described with founding year, headcount, headquarters and a specialization line. Every one of those facts is attributed to the specific source it came from, so a reader can check any figure directly against that company's own site, its LinkedIn company page or its GoodFirms profile.

How this list was built

The starting pool came from two independent observations, both made within a day of each other. Page-one Google results for blockchain-related commercial queries observed on 2026-08-26 surfaced ScienceSoft, PixelPlex, Unicsoft and SoluLab for blockchain development company searches, Antier and Itransition for smart contract development searches and Innowise for FinTech development services searches. Perplexity's answer on 2026-08-27, when asked directly which companies lead blockchain development, named ConsenSys, Altoros, PixelPlex, Unicsoft, Innowise, Peiko, SpaceDev and ScienceSoft, with TokenMinds appearing among the same answer's cited domains.

That combined pool was then filtered to companies whose founding year, headcount and headquarters could each be checked against the company's own published sources, meaning the company's own website first, its LinkedIn company page second and its GoodFirms profile third, the same three-tier priority order used throughout this page. Every figure on this page was verified directly against that company's own published material as captured on 2026-08-27. Where a company's own sources disagreed with each other, or with a third-party listing, the disagreement is stated plainly in that company's own entry below rather than resolved by guessing. A company that named itself a different founding year on its own homepage than on its own about page, or that designated no headquarters anywhere in its own material, did not clear that bar on its own.

Six companies from the combined pool were excluded for failing that verification bar. Altoros, Peiko and SpaceDev were named by Perplexity but each carries an unresolved internal conflict on its own site: Peiko's own about page gives 2016 as its founding year while its own homepage instead points to 2017, SpaceDev's own about page lists four office cities without designating any of them as headquarters, and Altoros discloses no founding year and no headcount anywhere on its own site at all. TechMagic and Kellton appeared in the page-one search results but TechMagic returns a deterministic error to automated fetches and could not be verified at all, and no verification record exists for Kellton. 10Clouds also appeared in the search results, but it carries two contradictory founding years, 2009 on its own GoodFirms profile against 2022 on its own LinkedIn company page, with no year stated on its own site to break the tie.
